Today I went to the Kumiluoti (=rubber bullet) bike shop, a good source for fixed gear stuff here in Helsinki (Kallio). I got myself an orange Velocity B43 rim to go with my orange Formula hubs for my new fixie.
bling!



I love the rim, it's totally sikk. Thanks Johannes! (I would have posted a pic, but there is a problem with my memory card in the camera. Film rules.)

I also put new brake levers on my current fixie today (well, yeah I ride with brakes). A pair of about mid 1980's Japanese Dia-Compe Royal Compe levers. My ride is getting sweeter.

But no pics since the camera can't read the memory card... When I started photography we used film, if there was a problem, you screwed up. I like the "easiness" of of digital, but...

While I was taking pictures of my bike today some guy asked if it will be up for sale, and he was ready to by it... But I can not part with this babe.
