Cars, what are they good for?

I was out riding again, trying to find a nice backdrop for my fixie, to get some pics.

That's world peace for ya all... The Soviets donated the statue to the city of Helsinki. It shows people from all continents holding the Earth and shaking their fists (for peace?).

So cars, what are they good for?
Well you can thrash them and make good art.

These big colorful cows, made out of thrashed cars, have been made by Minna Äkkijyrkkä. She is a controversial Finnish artist with her own style of doing things. Have a look at her other works, a lot of cows and good use of cars.

The light was not that good today, I had some bad white balance problems and hard shadows. I will need to redo this shoot some other day.

The cows actually made me think of the Gundam mecha warrior in Shiokaze Park, Tokyo.
